I do book reviews!

If you have a self-published or indie-published sci fi & fantasy book you want reviewed, send it to me! I’ll get to it as soon as I can. I am especially interested in writers who live near the Milwaukee/Chicago corridor, or anywhere in the Midwest, really. Reviews will always be published in Goodreads and Amazon, with occasional reviews being published on Starship Fonzie, the blog of the Milwaukee Science Fiction & Fantasy League. I will only publish reviews of 3 stars or higher. If it’s less than three stars, I will send you a critique as to why. You can then re-submit your revised work to me for a higher review.

I ask no compensation for my review work, but I do ask for a free copy. Fair’s fair. I also do book review swaps! If you’d like to trade books and reviews, let me know! Again, I ask no payment for my review work, but if you’re willing to trade a review for me in exchange for a review for you, then you will be guaranteed to receive a review!

Science fiction and fantasy only! Romantacy, horror/sci-fi… maybe. Fantastical or paranormal fiction, probably not, but I might give it a look. I’m a straight male, so I might dare read some straight erotica, but that’s all. (I know that’s exclusionary, but hey, I’m not your target demographic anyway.) Obviously, I can be rather choosy.

Formats I accept include:

.PDF, EPUB, or .DOCX files are also acceptable in certain circumstances, particularly if the book is on the verge of being published. But these formats are sometimes cumbersome. I do not take MOBI.

If all this is acceptable to you, please Email me with your review request. Be sure to include title, a brief synopsis, and a link to whatever page I can see your book’s cover.
